Pixel Art Fox Girl Animation (Eng-Esp)
Hello Steemians, today I bring you a really short animation I made, and a brief step by step.
Hola Steemians, hoy les traigo una pequeña animación que hice, y un breve paso a paso del proceso.
For this animation I was testing a new way to make wave movements (in this case for the tail) look smoother, and in my opnion the result is pretty good.
Para esta animación estaba probando una nueva manera de hacer movimientos ondulatorios (en este caso para la cola) mas fluidos, y en mi opinión el resultado es bastante bueno.
As always I started with a sketch of what I had in mind, to be honest, in this case I had like 70% of the character completed only by doing the sketch, so I just made a few adjustments (color, outlines, clothes, shadows) and voila.
Como siempre comencé con un boceto de lo que tenía en mente, para ser honesto, en este caso solo con realizar el boceto ya tenía un 70% de personaje completado, así que tuve que realizar pocos ajustes (color, delineado, ropa, sombras) y voila.
To make the tail I started adding some points as a guide for the wave movement, then some lines to connect the points, and as a final step I added some circles from the bottom to the top of the tail, to give it a closer shape to the final result I was looking for.
Para hacer la cola empecé dibujando algunos puntos como guía del movimiento, luego uní esos puntos mediante lineas, y como paso final agregue unos circulos desde la parte inferior de la cola hasta la superior, para darle un aspecto similar al resulado final que estaba buscando.
Para terminar la cola solo dibujé la forma que quería usando los círculos como guía, luego añadí las sombras y corregí algunos pequeños detalles.

Hi thanks, I use a software called aseprite, it's really handy and easy to understand.

Very cool! Currently, I use an older version of Photoshop and basically just use the pencil tool. I might consider aseprite as it looks like a very useful tool and I like that it's so specific to pixel art! Looks like it has a lot of different features for animation too. 😎

Hola! Me encantó el movimiento de la cola, ciertamente es bastante fluido y armónico. Yo también apunto a hacer animación en algún momento, sobre todo tradicional 2D, pero aún no me animo jaja éxitos!
