It’s Friday again folks. That means another Pizza Night is here!
In 2017 @jschindler and I began making pizza at home on Friday nights and that was fantastic. We would make the dough from scratch then top our pizzas with our favorite items. Experimenting and testing different combinations of ingredients was a lot of fun.

That was then and this is now!
Since last year things have changed, routines have been shifted, and a new evolution of Pizza Night is here. Since @jschindler and I work in Dallas, there are countless pizza options available to us within a short distance. Every Friday we choose a different restaurant’s pizza. This week we went to:

The Pie We Ordered
Combination (Choice of Three Ingredients): Pepperoni on all and half with black olive, mushroom, half with jalapeno, onion. Looks so good you want to cry, don'cha? :*)
How Did It Taste??
Even the TMNT (Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles) would approve this pie, it was that good. The crust was perfect: NY hand-tossed style -- floppy, yet crispy on the edges with a chewy texture underneath the crispiness. It was acceptably greasy because that comes with the territory on a pie like this (pepperoni).
You can tell from the dizzy angle how stunned I was in its presence.
Closing Thoughts on Two Guys From Italy
The full menu is a real looker! We came for pizza though - The pizza was hot and gooey with very generous portions of fresh toppings. We ordered for pickup and the two gentlemen with whom I interacted upon arrival were kindly and professional in their manner. As we ordered during a peak time, the large seating area was full of patrons enjoying their food, yet our pizza was hot and ready when promised.
The freshly shredded Parmesan on the side was an excellent touch. Those foil packets of grated cheese-like powder are not the same caliber. Two Guys from Italy can expect us back for another visit in the future.

I think we're having pizza tonight XD of the home-made variety, my partner is making dough. The pizza we have readily available is chain pizza and we prefer home made. Also I have a different definition of pie so I kept getting momentarily confused with your usage here lol XD

Home-made almost always tastes better than at a chain restaurant, and it's way more fun, especially when the fam gets involved!
Hah! Yeah pizza pie-dessert pie, there's a big difference in flavors! Here in Texas most people don't know it as a 'pizza pie', just 'pizza'🍕🥧.
