There are alternative plans too

Last Sunday. We are getting into the goal with a group of physics department of Ananda Mohan College, Mymensingh. Who is reading, what he is doing, how the campus is campus-life ... talk about this. At one time I made that well-known question, which they might have heard from their childhood. 'What is the goal of your life?'

Wonder! 12 people sitting inside the circle, all of them have the same purpose-the BCS. This figure is not only of Anandamohan College, but most of the students of National University of the country are the only target of the BCS. Everyone we sat in a chat with, all four year old students. Along with their education, they started preparing for the BCS preparation from now on. Due to the dreams of the students, the fear of hope awakened. The tough one wars are waiting for them. Let's talk about the 38th BCS. This year, 191 people will fight for each position. The dream of one dream is 190 people's dream!

Anandamohan College went to talk to a few other students. A student from the Bengali department said, "We have no place other than government jobs." Is that really? Even though he was shouting, I asked some people, "If you do not take the BCS, what will you do?" The dream eyes are empty at the moment. Many of the students of the National University examined the first and the last of the BCS examinations. But to reach the goal should it be unstable, is it true that such a mentality of being able to accept the reality of fulfilling the goal or thinking of an alternative goal is being created in our students?

Anandamohan College Principal said the question To Zakir Hossain. Sir said, he is also aware of this problem. It was said, "There is not a great opportunity to talk about a career in class outside academic education. We are actually encouraging the students for the BCS. The teacher's inspiration is working, it is undeniable. Anandamohan students said that last year only 58 of their colleges have survived in BCS. But who are they, where are they? There is no good answer to this question.

Many students of the National University are running behind the 'Sonar Deer' of BCS, many of them have no other plans. Some students believe in talking with the students, they have no other way. These 'beliefs' at the same time have their strengths and weaknesses. Many students of the National University are being BCS cadre, and many people are not able to become a BCS cadre, because there are persistent goals, there is no other way to get ahead.

There is a word in English: 'Always Have a Plan B'. That is, always have an alternative plan. Top tennis player Serena Williams once said, "If the plan does not work, I have Plan B, C and even D." That is, one should not have multiple alternative plans. Talking about this with Assistant Professor BM Moinul Hossain of IT Institute Institute of Dhaka University. He thinks that it is very risky to prepare for only one goal ahead of time. "If we try hard with the preparation of the BCS, we can also prepare jobs for the banks or several non-government organizations. The more ways can be made, the better. You can try at least for all kinds of jobs, confidence will increase, 'he said.

Many students of our country also said a problem of Mr. Mainul Hossain. "We are not very good at Timwork. There are different skills in each person. Some people can take the initiative to take an initiative, become entrepreneurs. But this thing is now very common in abroad. We want to do everything alone. Potatoes online now, starting from banana or not being sold? How many opportunities there are in front! Some "soft skills" or general skills build up itself but many possibilities are created. Just like talking with people, building mentality to work together, these are also skills. '

Professor Mohammad Shahadat Hossain, a former student of Chandpur Government College, developed the skills of teaching as a student during his time. Many used to do tuition, they worked hard. The test was good. After graduation, tried for the BCS, did not. That's why Shahadat did not get lost. That's what he did in his teaching skills. Mohammad Shahadat Hossain is now a lecturer in Bangla Department of BAF Shaheen College in Dhaka. I said, there are a lot. She is still trying to get her to dream BCS. But he does not regret his will. Life never stops, he knows this truth.
