Deception Tip 18 - E18 - Distancing Language - Deception Tips Podcast - Spencer Coffman

in #podcast7 years ago

Liars like to distance themselves from the situation. They do not want to be associated with whatever it is they are attempting to conceal. This is because they don't want people to discover their lie. As a result, they will use words that distance themselves from people or places.

Deception Tip 18: Liars often use distancing language when speaking about someone they would like to avoid being associated with. Example: That man instead of his name.

Thank you! Yes, liars like to separate themselves. That is for sure!
I'm glad to hear that my video helped you with your post!

@spencercoffman you are really right about liars they are always trying to save or protect their lie

Yes, without the lie they fail. They want to be believed and will do whatever they can to keep their lie alive.

Great concepts. It's conversation skills and communication that's well versed that makes for a larger audience. I believe the reason is due to the fact that once information appears "mind blowing" that it's intensity on the mind offers adjustment is in effect. As the wheels of the mind begin to turn. When confronting the people with the truth. Logic often plays the best character placement when considering debating for the win. The logical resolution becomes a factor that the lesser understanding can eventually come to accept. However, there are times where potentials of outburst or discomfort may appear in the mind of the thinking. I often find that those whom appear to be propagating with history rewrites return the truth in their criminal act with cruse words. Which, is unfavorable to their position. However, the reaction from revelation often comes with a set of irrational reaction. This sometimes makes a genius comment reading between the lines of "fake news" to appear to be met with the harshest and most ignorant of responses. To figure the mind out in complete isn't for me to do truly. But, I do enjoy the debate considering traits of character that return the image of lesser intelligent. It makes me feel like there is educated substance to be found here! Thanks for sharing this article @spencercoffman!
