She was the queen
She acted in a mien.
She was widely known
To be forever alone.
She broke hearts
That was one of her acts
To lure in men
With her beauty and wits
Tear them apart
Into pieces and bits.
Leave them stranded
Like a loner on a deserted island
Wanting her love
Like the loner wants water.
She was the daughter
Of a King, the conqueror
Of a territory seen far
Across the horizon.
She feared love
Because she thought
It would take over her ambitions
And mislead her to the abolition
Of her kingdom.
But the Prince walked in
Head high to win her love
He was gentle and patient
For he knew she was
Much more than she ever showed.
He saw her in a different light
The way others had never seen
She knew his love would be hard to resist
Falling for him
Proved to be so easy
His heart was gold
His personality being brave and bold
They say the Prince
Feared no creature
Everything with him
Was an immense adventure.
She fell for him
And fell for him hard indeed
She had to concede
That she had found herself
The perfect man
And a great King.
