As a child, innocent and naive of the intimidating opportunity
Maturity marks the inceptive segue towards individuality
Looking through the blinders donned by family and peers
Expectations run wild leaving the true path concealed in fear
Far too easy to be trapped in vicarious roles, almost a ruse
Leading to a foggy path of emptiness and glum, totally morose
Rise to the challenge, face all fears and embrace your passions
For joy is far sweeter and easier when wearing your own fashion

Searching for a catalyst to fuel our ambition
It is easy to get lost in the abundance of fiction
Seek truth to rekindle the inner fire
Purge the cache of all deviant desires.
