Antisocialness
Hello!
Here is a poem I've written about antisocialness, and how technology may be improving society, but it is taking away face to face time. For example, these days, when you think of face to face time, often you would think of the literal face time app. Science has proven that while facebook and instagram have been beneficial, most users' brains have been functioning differently. The humain brain of a user would be more active once their latest post accumulated a certain amount of likes, or when their best friend has tagged them in their photo.
One other reason why antisocialness is affecting us, is because teens spend more than an average of 5 hours per day, staring at a tv, or even just a screen, and the problem is being ignored by many. Hope you enjoy the poem ;)
If someone trips and falls,
All you do is stare.
You walk through those halls,
But still, you don’t really care.
And if you happen to,
Which people rarely do,
You would feel it inside.
But it wouldn’t feel like you.
It’s like a robot,
Staring at a screen,
Really caring a lot,
About the likes on your tweet.
You don’t really know do you?
5 hours behind a tv.
You’d think it’s not true,
Just open your eyes and see.
Anti-socialness creates problems,
I wish it would be believed.
We’ll find a way to solve them,
And the world will be relieved.
