DECIDE TO RISE

Push. Turn up the volume. Go hard. Go harder.
Reprioritize your aches and pains.
Infuse your sensitivities with courage.
Tell fear to fuck right the fuck off.
Devote yourself to done.

There are Soul-justified reasons to cancel. There are times to just stop.
This isn’t one one them. Keep going. Show up. Full on. Full tilt. Full out.
Decide to be one of those people who pull it off.

Do what you say you’re going to do.
Don’t let us down.
Decide to rise.

Why decide to rise?
Not for the reasons you might think.
In fact, these are the reasons that will make you sick and tired.
Do not rise out of obligation.
Do not rise because of fears consequences.
Do not rise because you think being tough makes you smarter (it doesn’t).

Decide to rise because you want to expand —your being, your life, your possibilities. Decide to rise because superpowers are meant to be activated and applied in everyday life.

Decide to rise to explore your place in the Universe.

On the other side of deciding to rise is illumination, ecstasy, insight.
And the angel of your strength is there waiting, smiling, applauding, with a goblet of endorphins for you,
Drink Up!

When you transcend circumstances you get special privileges.
You get evidence that you are indeed amazing, and irrefutable proof that what your heart and mind choose is what matters.

And you get the deep knowing that life wants you to win.

Decide to rise.

Lean in. Listen up. Closely.
It’s your Soul speaking, sand she says,

Get up!
I need you.
I want you.
I am you.

Choose me

Lean in.
Listen up.
Closely.

Decide to Rise.

-Danielle Laporte

You may or may not be familiar with the best selling author, Danielle Laporte. One of her creations is The Desire Map.

The Desire Map is a self-exploration to identify your core desired feelings. It inspires a more feeling-based approach to life.

That was a game changer for me, so much so, I indulged myself into this work because of how foundational it was and I know how much it would help others.

I am a Desire Map Facilitator. I believe that Desire Mapping is a quick and effective way to tap into what we really want. We get confused along the way, distracted and we tend to complicate things. We forget who we are and what we really want.

Clarity is power, and in my own experience with The Desire Map process, it has given me so much clarity in the direction I really want to go and who I really want to be, and most importantly how I wanted to feel.

I will be sharing some of her work here on Steemit. I will also share when I have available spots open for the full Desire Map Workshop online and 1:1 Sessions.

It really is life changing personal development and spiritual growth work.

Let me know if you enjoyed this poem.

I hope you all have a wonderful day!

I really enjoyed this!! A lovely read! I am also happy because my upvote made you an extra $0.02! Let's hope a whale can come and push it up substantially! ;) I think Steemit is a long process but hopefully this time next year, we will both be earning decently from creating good content :) Have a lovely day! x

Haha, $0.02 is $0.02, it all counts, thanks! I really need to make friends with some whales soon...lol. I agree, it just takes time, to become whales ourselves. Thanks for reading, I'm glad you enjoyed it! :)

I honestly believe this! All the crypto markets are down right now, but Steemit is perhaps the number one decentralised information sharing platform out there right now. As soon as people get even more fedup with traditional social channels and adopt this platform, we will find that we are no longer newbies :) We just have to be patient and wait for Steemit to become more popular! :D

I agree. I'm in it for the long haul. I've got a good feeling about it too! The more time I spend on here, the more I like it.

Beautiful poem to read this morning. Hope you have a lovely day.

It's amazing how life put this poem in my life just when I was forgetting to keep strong, thank you very much! keep with the good content!

I'm glad it crossed your path! :)

Good poem! Thank you for sharing.

I'd like expand on "Core Desired Feelings". Long before Danielle came out with her book, I'd been saying, "Everything we say we want is really what we want to feel." I knew this from my training in "Uzazu", the mind-body movement modality I had been practicing for over 10 years.

So...Last year, I eventually came up with the "3 Kinds of Desire". >>>

  1. Cravings/Addictions/Programming/Socialization.

  2. "Core Desired Feelings" ala Laporte

  3. Desire from the Dark Void. This is the Desire that springs when we sit in silence for long enough...and...just....BE...all thoughts and even desire disappear at that point...just a deep dark void is all that remains...and we feel...complete...and from that completion, a new desire spontaneously arises, "Now that I feel complete, how do I share this Ecstasy with others?" So, there's desire for unique expressions of our Completeness, and sharing this with the community to co-create that more beautiful free world our hearts know deep down is possible...this is when we experience Fulfillment, the third Stage of Spiritual Evolution in my system...

Wow, that is very interesting, (the third desire) I think I understand. I Believe I have experienced it, but have never linked it to a desire, but now that you mention that question; "Now that I feel complete, how do I share this Ecstasy with others?" That "desire" is something powerful I experience and never really understood why it was so important for me to share.

I'm not sure if I've totally experienced the total completeness, but during certain meditations or times of grasping a new level of knowledge that I know to be true deep down, its like everything else is irrelevant. Very hard to explain.

Thanks for putting your perspective on the subject of desire. It is something I am going to pay more attention to moving forward.
