شعلہ ہی سہی آگ لگانے کے لیے آ
شعلہ ہی سہی آگ لگانے کے لیے آ
پھر نور کے منظر کو دکھانے کے لیے آ
یہ کس نے کہا ہے مری تقدیر بنا دے
آ اپنے ہی ہاتھوں سے مٹانے کے لیے آ
اے دوست مجھے گردش حالات نے گھیرا
تو زلف کی کملی میں چھپانے کے لیے آ
دیوار ہے دنیا اسے راہوں سے ہٹا دے
ہر رسم محبت کو مٹانے کے لیے آ
مطلب تری آمد سے ہے درماں سے نہیں ہے
حسرتؔ کی قسم دل ہی دکھانے کے لئے آ
