I wished that i was 16 then 19 and then 21
I wished that i was older
Then i wished that i was young
It's the same ol' cliche happenin today
People wishing their whole lives away
Every manic Monday they've got Friday on their minds
And all the day's ahead.

They just wish them all behind
All those precious hours
They could have dreamed a dream
One that's twice their size
That turns a river from a steam
But they don't believe
That all their dreams come true
So come and share my dreams
For i have dreamed
