EPHEMERALITY

Quietly she approaches their wrinkled -harrowing faces,

A baptism of hope silhouettes their fragile muscular organs

pumping exciting red liquid through narrow pipes.

It could have been an eternal process but for the ephemerality of a dream-like embodiment.
