Poem "war"
Upon stars where pavement dazzle the light catches as if this weren't real.
Achievements of the great
But what was great?
Measured is this world upon a murdering state
Enslaved as if there the caliphate
They ask for dance
We dance
Nothing's wrong
Everything's great.
But they don't show
Bombs when they hit there gates
A land so different how could this be?
We're never truly understand until democracy
So we carry on
Nothing wrong
"You can't come here there's no room they say"
"But you bombed my land and now we long to be free"
What's free? We will say
