looking for the lost and weary solution
looking at this bizarre process of evolution
taking us over board into a revolution.

I say free your mind
you are human and kind
love, live and let live
you have so much to give.

You kill in the name of God
you maim to keep your rod
you slaughter to feed your hunger
you laugh when you see the plunder.

Was your education just right
or were you always in a fight
the family broken and disturbed
or was it just your ambition curbed.

The lust for conquest
the greed for unrest
the need for turmoil
the seed for the soil.

Where do you think you are going
there is really no way of knowing.
