Hi steemian, talking about the power of self discipline. Do you really know the power of self discipline; it is self control, self esteem and self mastery.

According to Brian Tracy, he stated two worst enemies of self dicipline:
Qhich are:

  1. Path of least resistance: This is what causes people to take the easy way in almost every situation. They seek shortcourts to everything, developing easier way and factest way to get things rather than doing what is hard.

  2. The expediency factor: It is an extension of the law of least resistance. The principle says, "people invatiably seek the fatest and easiest way to get the things they want , right now l, with no little or no concern for the long term consequencies of their behaviour." In other words people do what is expedient, what is fun and easy rather than what is necessary for success.

<Do you really wonder why sucessful people are rich and the unsuccessful are poorer, this is because the "successful people do what the unsuccessful dont like to do.>

He also mention some tips on how to be disciplined and be successful:

  1. Describe your ideal: If your business, work and career were ideal in every way, what would they look like?

  2. Do your own thing: what do i mean by this, a popular definition of success is "being able to live your life in your ways, doing only those things you want to do, inthe situations you desire."

3.Hardwork is the key: The indespensable requirementsl for hardwork is self discipline, success is possible only when you can cut the natural tendency to coners and easy way.

  1. The secret pf success: Firstly, decide exactly what you want in life, be willing to pay the price and the quality of your willingless.

"The rich is getting richer and the poor is getting poorer. BE DETERMINED AND DISCIPLINED"

Those height of great men won and kept, were not achieved by sudden flight. But they are, while their companionship slept wrre toiling upward in the night

Thank you for this educative and insightful post. I remember in secondary school always say that there is no shortcut to success. Being successful requires determination and discipline and hardwork like you said.
