A million messages that flare
From the sparks in her eyes
Why is it?
She asks, I loved you perfectly
Love that transcended Juliet's
With the shades of my tree
I gave you breath
Gave you life
Yet you cut me down, lovelessly?
Why is it?
She asks, you suffocate me
With the fumes of your greed?
When i selflessly gave you my shine?
Why is it?
You poison me with your carbon poison?
The gleam of her love
Stares at you
No longer so lovely,
You betrayed her trust.
Now you know
Why homeless you are
Floating on the floods
Borne of your greed
And thoughtlessness
Now you know
You provoked I
Your mother
Mother-Nature.

Well, today is World Earth Day so i decided to pass across the message Mother Earth would have screamed to us if she had a vocal voice. Mother Earth's story is the story of betrayal. She so loved us but how have we payed back? By cutting her trees down, by intoxicating her cleanly precious atmosphere with poisonous fumes of carbon.
Well, i think Mother Earth is angry too...now we talk of Climate change and dont forget the floods.
Lest we retrace our steps unto love of nature, we are in for a pretty big mess. Mother Earth just turned bearish. But for how long?
That is ours to answer!
