As darkness plagued the soul
Joy departed minds are weary
The hope couldn't be seen
Time after time, faith for all
Daily as we seek for a light afar
Continually beseek the light hearted
Patiently waiting for peace
None showed up for weeks
At the last glance of love
Lying down to take a deep breathe
Onward came the expectant
Without joy in his pocket.
