Cool poem! I love the way the imagery draws out some of the context in your words. I believe that tree on the top is called "Samauma," a.k.a. "kapok." It is the largest tree in the Amazon, with a lifespan upwards of 2000 years. Colossal and majestic tree. I've heard certain members of this tree family have pockets where 7 people can sit inside, in Mother Nature's womb. And I've been told that the longest branch on these trees points to another Samauma tree.
