Ancestral tree/Original poem – [100 Days poetry challenge (Day 33)]

in #poetry7 years ago

Ancestral tree

I feel dried leaves under my feet
Of a large tree of an atavistic life
Surrounded by the cries of the day
Forged by parasites

Termites proliferated in its trunk
Satisfying your voracious appetite
Aggressive guest
That you turn off slowly
A quiet voice

My senses are alert,
They show me the agony
Of a wounded warrior
Who seeks remedy
In the light of a white heart
To relieve your pain

Let's help the trees in trouble;
As a living being,
He has a place in the Cosmo
The same as us.

True true your poetry carries words of wisdom as well as the truth, we should try to keep the trees alive at all cost because their survival defines ours as well

Thanks friend. So is.
