A quick little love poem....(Original work by @dagger212)
One time we've kissed, and that's all it took.
Two times we've touched, and my body shook.
Three times we've talked and now my heart yearns
For your sweet voice, so silky it burns.
Five senses reel, enraptured each one.
Six beats a second pounds my heart like a drum.
Seven fine wines can't match your sweet lips.
Eight million miles I'd travel to sip.
Nine lives with you wouldn't be long enough
Tenderly held within your arms of love.
I've always liked this one. A little gimmicky with the 1-10 thing but....they make sense so...there you have it. Happy New Year!
I really liked this. Everything is a gimmick. To write poetry is to say something in a way that has never been said before. I think you accomplish that with this poem. It's really good and the rhythm is so perfect that it almost hides the genius of the lines. Good write.

Lol! You should totally enter the killerpoetry contest - there are no format rules but they do want you to resteem the post (I have if you are trying to find it) I am not sure if it is one you would wana do but it doesn't get as many entries and your poems are so good!
