Ducks in a Row

Some people start life ready to do what they are here to do.
Others, like me, go through series after series of experiences
Various hobbies, loves and obsessions taking up our time
Latching on to every interesting thing we fine
It can be painful, thinking about all the near misses
But we persevere
Eventually, one day we realize,
I am doing the things that all of those other things lead to
I'm not there yet, but It's starting, and I'm thankful.
