Siglo XXI

Duele en cada hueso
tu juventud reducida a la grandeza.
También la puesta en pie
entre reliquias de estaño recién nacidas.

Te duele el insomnio pétreo
por ser prematuro sin lágrimas, noctámbulo.
Sin contar el reclamo antepasado,
el rechazo mientras lidias con el desbarajuste
ni la dependencia sin solución.

Naciste afiliado a la medida del desastre.

Duele tu piel lozana
y todavía expones sin vergüenza la falta de sangre.
Cómo te colmas de padecimiento por la explicación otra vez
y te toca corear la fatiga a viva voz.

Te duele y no cierras los ojos.
Cada noche escupen indiferencia
entre tus inhalaciones alargadas por esperanza necia.
En guardia.

Twenty-first century
(English version)

Hurts in every bone
your youth reduced to greatness.
So does the standing up
among newly born tin relics.

You’re sore from the stony insomnia
for being premature without tears, night owl.
Not counting the ancestor claim,
the reject while dealing with the mess
or the dependence without solution.

You were born affiliated to the disaster measure.

Hurts your luscious skin
and yet you shamelessly expose the lack of blood.
How you fill yourself with suffering for the explanation again
and it’s your turn to sing fatigue out loud.

It hurts and you don’t close your eyes.
Every night they spit indifference
between your long breaths of foolish hope.
On guard.
What are you waiting for?
