We are transitional devices
Two minutes is all it takes to listen to my spooky little poem, recorded with a backing track of crickets.
I know, I know - no one likes poetry, not even poets, but it's two minutes and really is, I reckon, spooky.
And as a bonus you get to hear a Kiwi accent. Awesome.
This bloody poem features:
steel on asphalt
on rubber
on fire,
the ghost of my Dad
and is inspired by ideas of tranhumanism, the idea that we are transitional devices, on our way to becoming something else.
Words are the content that matters to me. I also write stories-- sci-fi and otherwise.
I hope someone out there likes this snippet.
Kia ora (good on ya).
