Summer!

@whatisnew captures summer in a poem and the late adieu we always must bid it. It just seems like it's getting going as it wears on, and then suddenly it's autumn. The picture that @whatisnew includes (and captured themselves) is a perfect image of what that end of summer feeling feels like, too.

We also liked what she had to say about sheep

@kaerpediem writes:

Here's one from @michellpiala that speaks of a woman who had loved and lost. A woman strong but now in pain, torn apart but unable to speak of her sorrows and what torments her. The author wants to console but is unable to reach out to the woman, and so hopes and believes that she will rise again.

Today I would like to recommend a read of the poem by @byn, on the prompt mask. It's a beautiful poem about the struggles of everyday life. We put on a front, to assure everybody that we are fine, but in reality we are going through things we don't like to talk about. For what ever reason we have, we suffer in silence, instead of sharing with our loved ones. Definitely a must read this week.... 👍👍

@whatisnew says:

If you are feeling all alone or at the end of your rope, remember there is hope. And if ever wanted to know what it is like to be all alone in a desert, you must read this beautifully written poem, "A Desert Journey." There is so much depth and beauty in her words so go read it and see for yourself.

the google translation:
Sand Skin
The skin of sand
is your body,
desert
awaits me.

The dunes draw
the perfect shape,
the oasis of mint
and kisses that come together

The fire ice
mirage of your beauty,
kill my sadness
in secret game.

I do not know where I am
under the eternal sun,
I walk without waste
without knowing where I am going.

The clock without sand is
already running out of time,
sighing the moment
to walk your body
in this desert
of sand skin.

goggle translation:
Natural Essence

Look for your essence,
not appearance,
find beauty
in your nature.

Activate the interior
turn off the outside,
turn on the life
will be learned task.

Continue wanting
even if you are dying,
unplug the world
and your heart will be fruitful.

Always seek the essence
do not get lost in science,
do not judge appearances
remember the consequences ...

And his latest poem

google translation:

Like the fog, his vision obstructs,
deprives him, blinds him;
the cataract has grown, the water,
turbid, flooded his eyeball.

His eyes ignore, wide
open,
the nuances of his surroundings,
all that light that surrounds him.

His sharp ear
makes each sound his own,
each wave with its frequency,
one by one, each beat.

His touch, awkward at times,
reminds him of the coldness of that cane
on the wall on which he leans
from each object that guides him.

Savor the bitter, because
your iris has lost all color.
And now ... In the dark,
he orients himself, adapts, and lives ...
