A HARD TOMORROW
THIS SOCIETY IS BUILT TO KEEP US AT WORK
ONCE WE FIND A WAY OUT THEY TRY TO PUT US IN THE DIRT
BECAUSE AT THAT POINT WE ARE USELESS; OUR UTILITY HAS EXPIRED
CANT CREATE/BUILD SOMETHING MEANINGFUL UNLESS THAT FIELD HIRES
AND WE WILL NOT WAKE UP TO THE REALITIES BECAUSE WE'RE WIRED
SINGING THE SWEET LULLABIES OF "INJUSTICE"
BECAUSE THE SYMPHONIES FOR PAIN OF "THE PEOPLE" RINGS HIGHER
A WISE MAN ONCE TOLD ME THAT WORK WAS OVERRATED
AS WE BOTH STOOD THERE LOOKING BACK ON OUR LIFE WE WAISTED
Very deep and moving! I love reading new poetry.
THANKS!
