The curse which plagued mankind

There was a curse which plagued mankind

No other curse can we find

Except for greed which always bind

People above or just behind

It spreads it net in every mind

Greed the pied piper

The slithering viper

Leading men for gain

All to be slain

For all we had knew

The curse wasn't new

It lived in every age

Even in the wisest sage

It grip were true

So was it hue

Men died for gain

Leaving others in pain

Today's leaders are not excluded

Every politician could be included

In their quest for fame

They played us like a game

Will men be free

will eyes finally see

And stop the sinful seed

Of men of greed
