e Vo Lu TiNg - a sound poem by @greatdabu

in #poetry7 years ago (edited)

This sound-poem comes from a conversation with our alien ancestors who have come back to check on us after hybridizing the human race eons ago ...........

hello ... oh?
what we been doing?
ya .... oh ...... well
crawling .... crawling around this planet
evoluting
where you been?
we've been here the whole time
ya .... the whole time
you know ... well ...
being the human ..... the hu-man
loving ..... and shooting
just evoluting
just evoluting
making .... breaking
mistaking
sometimes ....... brooding
ya .... brooding
we been .... you know
doing our evoluting
everybody dance now
ee vo lu ting
ee vo lu ting
ee vo lu ting
ee vo lu ting

This was the sound-poem I included within my Intro Post - but I wanted to give it it's own linkable place, along with the 5 others I've posted so far, for easier future reference.

Surely sir.

Interesting groove, very danceable. The lyric is almost a one sided conversation. I liked this as it made me wonder what was happening on the other side. Oh,, and "evoluting" is a great description.
Great job Brother!

Brilliant piece of audio video - it has a strong Trevor Horn/FGTH sound (big compliment in my book!) Keep producing those gems!

Thank you very much @icedrum. That is a big compliment. I've got big respect for Trevor Horn.
