Incandescent night
The deceptive twilight had just arrived
And was gradually paving way
For the moon to cast her shy smile
Over the face of the earth.
That moment you could barely tell
The faces of your kinsmen if you passed
One by the road.
I sauntered into the darkness
In search of some unharmonious symphony
From the chirping insects, rustling of fallen
Dry leaves and the ominous hoot of owls.
In this confusion your smile beamed.
Afar off, you walked as it illuminated the night
Dispelling all darkness even,
Before the dutiful moon came with her warmth
You're warmth itself and this incandescent smile
Is moon enough.
Now I think the moon has passed her bed time
And should get some sleep.
