Attn Poets: Poetry Competitions Monday Update

Hi my lovely poets.

In my quest this week, I have found another couple of competitions with an avenue for poets. You are truly spoilt for choice and there is something here for every poetic nuance and plenty of inspiration for new ideas.

See the individual posts for rules and how to submit and be sure to support the competitions with an upvote and/or a resteem for the encouragement of all involved.

I have put them in order of what finishes soonest for your convenience.

Just Poetry Contests

Write a poem about Steemit, MSP, community, crypto, or blockchain

Deadline: Tuesday 29th when 7 days is reached, so enter ASAP

@novaatebateman. @superbuckles and @hopehuggs with Poetry Pocalypse

What to do: Write a poem inspired by or based on the day's Steem Pocalypse competition

Deadline: Daily competition running along side Steem Pocalypse.

@hopehuggs with Runaway Rhymes 10: Calls of Animals

What to do: Write a rhyming poem about life from any animals's point of view

Deadline: Tuesday 29th August (midnight or whatever is entered by midday GMT on Wednesday)

@robyneggs with the Poetry Dice Challenge 3000

What to do: Write a poem inspired by the poetry dice and however you interpret what is on each of the dice. This weeks throw looks like this:

Deadline: Saturday 2nd September Midnight PST (UTC-7)

What to do: Write an original poem in words and translate it into emojis or (vice versa)

Deadline: Monday 4th September when post pays out

Creative Competitions that Include Poetry

What to do: Any form of art (including poetry) with the theme surrealism.

Deadline: Thursday 31st August before post pays out.

@jacobtothe with the Story Cubes Contest

What to do: Write, photograph, paint, sculpt, or otherwise create something based on three (3) or more of the symbols shown on the dice

Deadline: Friday 1st September before post pays out

@poeticsnake with Positive Sunday week challenge

What to do: Use the picture I provide and turn it into something positive in any creative way you want! ( paint, make a poem, use a program, make a meme, everything is possible).

Deadline: Before next post is due to be posted next Sunday 3rd September

What to do: All you have to do is post a comment inspired by and/or relevant to the word "Acceptance"

What to do: Post what vegan means to you! This could be anything from vegan approved recipes (no animal products) to poems, to reviews... basically I am looking for vegan related content at your discretion (must be animal friendly!)
