"Malaya"
Kaysarap ng pakiramdam
Na hindi kana magdamdam
Na wala kanang iisipin
At wala ng iintindihin
Malaya na rin sa wakas
Isip at puso'y wala ng bakas
Ng pag-aalala at pagkabalisa
Tapos na, at ako'y malaya na!
Ilang buwan din kulang sa tulog
Isip at katawan ay bugbog
Pigang-piga na ang laman
Kulang-kulang ang kain sa kalamnan
Salamat, oh aking Panginoon
Aking panalangin ay iyong tinugon
Na makaya ang lahat ng pagsubok
Sa pag-aaral kahit naging marupok.
Maraming salamat sa pagbasa!
Nawa'y iyong nagustuhan ang aking mumunting tula.
