BE BOLD TO WALK OUT
She looked at him,the fears in her eyes like fireflies at night,
He advanced threateningly to the bed,
She looked so scared she could vanish in a blink!
His eyes glared at her like a hunter at his prey
She said a silent prayer "Please, let it not be"
Numerous thoughts clouded her reasoning
Her heart beat furiously against her chest like knockouts on Christmas Eve
Fears of the worst case settled within her
She was terrified!!!
He came close, his eyes glowered dreadfully and ordered her out of the bed
She flew out in an instant!
The tears flowed rapidly like a torrential downpour!!
"Kneel down there!!!" he bellowed, breaking into her thoughts.
She didn't realize what she had done until she found herself kneeling with her hands held high
Like a school girl on punishment
She opened her mouth, but words failed her again
She saw him lose his belt, she gasped in fear "Baby, please!" she wailed like her life was on the line
"Let me not hear a single pem!!" his voice resounded loudly in the room just like the clash of thunder
The whips followed in quick succession!!
Her voice was lost to the pains inflicted, she was drowning in tears and chocking with greater fears
And when the whips stopped coming, she thought she was dead already
Surely, she must be in hell, only then did she realized the voices had stopped
She knew then that the sharp cries of
"Honey! I'm sorry!...I'll never try it again...Baby! please forgive me...it was a mistake"
Were the remains of her beautiful voice which begged earnestly for her life
Her only wrong was to have caught him cheating, she should have just kept quiet
She cast a weak glance at her predator, his eyes still wore the murderous look but he walked away without a word.
Three days later, she was in his house again cooking his favorite meal in his slimy kitchen and scrubbing every corner of his greasy pigpen also washing his filthy clothes
The scars and bruises were as fresh as freshly baked bread
She had disobeyed the doctor who placed her on bedrest for at least a week, she rushed down as soon as he called
He didn't even need to say sorry, she'd always be there for him!

What a long poem Jenny.
Don't stay like a Muslim festival sheep.
Don't try to put up with.
Rather, put an end to it.
Be bold to walk out.
