This cage of bone: a poem
Hear me howl in this cage of bone
I died a thousand years ago
Hear me howl in this cage of bone
I thought death would take me home
I wander this desert where the sun won't rise
And I lose their faces to the sand of time
I wail me troubles to the lounging snakes
I've run out of ways to escape
I don't know how I earned this fate
But I'm far beyond wasting away
