A Moon's Call
The stillness that only night can bring,
The time in between life and void,
A gaze of silver, ancient and mild.
A cycle since time immemorial,
A lover caressing with a tender touch,
Beaming white brilliance in rays.
Mystery and majesty intertwine,
Regal and cold,
Her light comes glaring down.
It came a faint whispering in the calm,
But a mere breath on the wind,
A song sung about cold and loneliness.
Crystal tears slide down,
As my thoughts drift with the song,
As i sit under the moon, and lament to her call.
