Feeling so close, yet so far away
As if . . .
There is a divide between us . . .

A wall
I built
You built
We built
Together

Loved and unloved
Empty and full
Every contradiction contradicted
Is this the life you built?
I built
we built
And the gates that you thought kept others out
Only kept you, me imprisoned
In your
Body
Heart
Soul and Mind
Teared
Torn
Tattered
Down

All this I created
So much doing to undo
Stories to untell
To create
A new way
A blank path
