Acceptance Prayer (Original Poem)
Accept Your Struggle
Tender surrender, abide by thee
Upon thy failing resolve
Home of courage, bestow your treasure
To thy feeble form
Womb of patience, impregnate thee
With seasons’ acceptance
Craft of trust, weave thee
In knots of life
Gift of wisdom, I fall onto thy sword
To fuse thy ego with your blade

Best evidence that a few lines can be so powerful! I love the last two lines.. it creates the strong image of putting the lubricant of wisdom onto the sword to etch off the ego rust! :)
Thumbs up! :)
Thank you for supporting this work.
Beautiful words. I also love the last two lines. It reminds me that the work of dealing with our egos often involve pain and sacrifice. That may deter us for a long time, but the work is always worth it.
