You are loved, so so loved. Let this be a reminder for you today.

"How do you know God's listening, or even cares?" This question hit my inbox last week and it's been spinning in my mind ever since. It's a question we've all asked - maybe even more than we'd like to admit.

How do we know? What would make Him care? How can we even have the audacity to believe He notices our pain in the first place?

There are moments in my life when I get so wrapped up in my humanness it's impossible to trust God's promise. I get low and convince myself that He has better things to do, that I'm unworthy and undeserving of His love. Ever been there?

We're so quick to forget that we are God's creations. That He built us, each and every cell, each and every hair, each and every bone and muscle and piece.

We get caught up in our mistakes/sin/evil and we think that's all there is. We forget that God has already conquered everything, faced every demon, sacrificed His SON for us.

The thing is, our problems aren't always monumental. There are probably bigger, more painful things, sure. But that doesn't mean what we face dont matter - especially to our Savior. He hears us. He cares. And how do we know this? Because He brings us blessings and lessons from pain, because He sends miracles in the most unexpected of places, because He gives us a promise of His faithfulness in our lives, because He hasn't and will never abandon us. (Even if we haven't gotten the answers we want yet.) So what do you do if you can't hear Him/haven't heard Him? You hold on. You pray. You keep going. You don't let yourself be bound or controlled by your pain.

And you believe - because that is faith. Trusting the unknown. And knowing that He is with you, no matter what you face.
