Blossoming flares coyly blush
                                                                     on the canvas,
                                        recoiling at the silvering light
                                                                     where dreams blacken,
                                        as maddening strokes burst
                                                                     among sky flowers.

                                        The panting creature grabs hold
                                                                     of the wandering hand;
                                        and dabs dark paint of insanity
                                                                     over the hazing violet,
                                        as snowy hues and amber whacks
                                        revolve around the whirling lights.

                                        —Your starry, starry night
                                        lives on in the saddest song
                                        intoned by the voice
                                        of the brightly blazing,
                                                                     flaming flowers,
                                                                     over your shady hills.
