Biarlah aku yang merajut kata itu

Disetiap pertemuan yang telah jadi kenangan

Biarlah kupilih diksi dalam puisi itu
Pada petang yang tidak lagi kelam
Disetiap rindu yang telah bersemayam

Biarlah yang membantuku tegar
Pada kesunyian sepertiga malam
Disetiap sujuh hamba kepada Tuhan

Every meeting has been memorable

Let me choose the diction in the poem
In the evening that is no longer dark
In every longing that has resided

Let that help me to be strong
In the silence of a third night
Every servant slave to God
