Original Poem-- Marionettes.
Marionettes
It was a
story of us
Once upon
a time
We were but
mere dolls
In front of country
folk's eyes.
Five of six,
eight strings from above
Was attached
and controlled our love
Our owner added
more til nine
Obedient we were
all the time.
Had it not been
for there long strings
And for fate's entertainment
we must play
We wouldn't taken
the decency
To escape life
from the rainy days.
How long must we
remain puppets and pawns?
Before his death march
closes the bridge
Before the silhouette
puts into obscurity
Before the strings
will no longer play our parts?
