Steemit Visayan Poetry #1-- "Katawa" (Original Poem w/ Eng Translation)

Hi Steemers! I welcome you to my new version of poetry here on steemit. The Visayan Poetry, Visayan is the general term for my dialect to where I am living now. It composed of several dialects but I will be focusing on Bisaya. Don't worry for I will be giving the full translation of the poem. This will be my first attempt. I hope you'll support this one and for upcoming also. This is for steemit. Enjoy! Kudos!

Katawa

Katawa ang pinakamaayong tambal
sa tawong masulub-on,
Katawa ang gusto sa tanan,
apan nganung lisud man himoun
sa tanan?

Sa atong kinabuhi,
kaluha na nato ang pagsuway.
Kung diin, kini ang makalugmok
sa atong pagkatawo.

Luha nga midagayday
sa mga mata,
ang atong masaksihan sa tawong,
magmasulub-on.
Apan ayaw kawala sa paglaom,
kay ang Diyos Amahan nagsud-ong
sa imung sitwasyon.

Isalig lang ang tanan Kaniya,
kay ugma damha.
Maangkon mo ang
ganti sa pag-antos.
Imung matagamtaman
ang kaharuhay sa dili pa magdugay.

Ikaw magmaya,
ug makita ta ang imong
matam-is nga pahiyum ug katawa.
Katawa nga giubanan sa
nagpangatagak nga luha,
Luha dili sa pagkapakyas,
kung dili luha sa kalipay.
Niabot na ang takna nga
magmalampuson ka sa
imung mga damgo.

Translation:

Laughter

Laughter is the best medicine
on a gloomy person,
laughter is what
everyone wants,
but why is it hard to give?

In our life,
we are bound
with challenges.
Challenges that put us down
and even our personality.

Tears dropped from the eyes,
witness from a sad guy.
But, don't lose hope,
because Heavenly Father will
lift you up for you
to cope.

Give all trust to him,
tomorrow you will felt,
the rewarding blessing
from pain.
And soon,
you'll render
the softness in life.

Be glad, and see the
glory of your smiles
and laughs.
Laughter along with tears.
Not a tear of failure,
but a tear of joy.
Time has come,
success is in time
and your dream at your hand.
