Sampai wajah terbenam
Hanya yang terdengar nyanyian sumbang
Tak ubahnya suara jangkrik malam
Ada dalam antah berantah
Ku tantang,kau jika benar
Sebut nenek moyang
Supaya terang dan tidak samar
Atau cukur saja kumis dan jenggot
Terbit dari pertapaan
Dengan wajah tegap
Berwibawa
Berhenti bernyanyi jika kau takut
Kuburlah lagu mu itu
Kau tidak pantas hidup dalam bayangan
Bagaimana bisa ada bayang
Sedang kamu mencintai kegelapan pekat***
