Softly falling to the ground
No two of them quite the same
Opulent flakes make no sound
Winter snow wins grand acclaim
For its sparkling crystalline luster
Landing in drifts, piled so high
Amassed from winds that bluster
Kissed by snowflakes as they fly
Earth is covered in purest white
Wearing Nature's shawl tonight
