Time in a Trio of Verse

In this moment, I am okay
I sit ensconced in walls of time
No tomorrow, or yesterday can come here
They are but pale images through the glass
They do not belong to now and I
Do not belong to them

Attention, pay attention
Pay attention to the details
The life is in the details,
Not in the ebb and flow
The successes and the failures
The battles won or lost
It is in the air you breathe
It is in the light move through
It is in time and space
And the laugh of a child

You say you want to live your life
And yet you have just allowed a moment
To pass by without even taking notice
While you focus on what living means
You say you want adventure
That your life needs more excitement
So you change the channel to find it
You say you want more while giving
As little as possible
