                             Overwatered

Drenched in over thoughts, simple water pail
surpassed by time, grass snake scale.
Shed the skin, moving towards
fever splint from broken cowards.

Silver sands drown in a glass
echoing moments of the past.
Forever looming a single seed
waiting for watering, its desperate need.

Devoured the light, harvested the heat!
Placed your energy, stems for feet.
Glass jar, mason, just figure of speech
growing up, blossom, a fig or peach.
