Heaven Must Have Needed You More ~ An original poem
This is an original piece I wrote shortly after Michael Jackson passed. I felt compelled to write something. seeing as he has been a part of my life. I remember being a bit surprised and a sense of loss. More than I would have expected. Then again, I have watched him grow up, enjoyed his music & videos throughout the years. I guess I just wanted to show my appreciation.

The Angels descended unto the earth
your spirit and soul shown radiantly brilliant.
Making it facile to locate your presence.
Here now, to take you home where you belong.
Michael, we mourn you from every corner of this earth
Without question and NO denying the impact you've instill.
Quietly, the angels glide you across these endless galaxies.
HOME.......Heaven must have needed you now
One of the few who changed our views, our perspective
Enriched our lives for those who watched & listened.
Giving us song, dance, mystery & love
Inviting our imagination to explore infinite possibilities
You are and shall be admired, adored but never forgotten.
Yes, it is our loss here in this place & time
So ascend amongst the Angels with NO despair
For your work & destiny has already been ordained
SEE.........Heaven must have needed you more
No more tears, pain nor sorrows to interfere your compassion
We know you're at peace now and not alone
Sing & dance under the protected wings of His Angels
The Light you shined, reaching across ALL humanity
Leaving us a blueprint of inspiration & knowledge
Blessing all with wisdom & awareness
through your sound & vision
Indeed.......Heaven must have needed you now
As mortals,
Many may not have gotten it, but I did
Sustain our God giving child like ways.
Their innocence, purity, curiosity & wonder
For it is written, that we are ALL Gods children
As this is true and if the children are our future
Everyday, lets remember to let them be just that.....children
