What happened to my dinner
Where is it gone
Oh!
It ran away
It must have legs
And maybe a soul
My peaceful dinner
Flew from my plate
A little bird with song
Now gone from my plate
To sing about me
To all who can hear
Except for us
The nature lovers
And our gentle tears
