Poetry Inspiration

I'd like my posts to inspire myself and others to create more, so I thought I'd post this poem I wrote a while back. Let me know what you think!

Step one: suffer.
Whither away until skin and bones are all that's left,
Strip away your insecurities and tainted memories.
Step two: delineate surface texture.
Pay close attention to the curvature of spine and constellations in dark sky and ocean blue in the eye.
Step three: pick pen and paper.
Glide palm on tree.
Allow soft grain to fall with
Dust particles you see in the sun shine through skylight.
Step four: do not stop.
Do not stop until all the ink has dripped down.
Warm your hands and start again because rest is not an option for the
Big-hearted small ego mania
That is creative practice.
Step five: be.
Be because living was always meant for the
Advantageous creator.
Be because wisdom derives from the ability to experience.
Be because your words are all that you truly have.
