STEEMIT POETRY CONTEST #16- Step outside the thinking box (Catch 22?)

Think outside the box he said,
While sitting in his room,
Think outside the room he fled,
Slinking from the gloom,

Step outside the house he thought,
And walked into the street,
Step outside the country he clued,
To the limits of your feet,

Let go of the anchor he belched,
And let go of the ground,
Let go of the dream he squelched,
And fell right back down,

Awake! He scratched his head,
Wondering where he had been,
To the limits of reality,
Or the limits of the dream?

So far he had run and travelled,
Without going out of the room,
Had he thought outside the box?
While remaining in the gloom,

Step outside the thought,
That reality is the truth,
Step outside your mind,
Your limits are a noose,

So think outside the box he said,
Once again sitting in his bed,
Is this reality true? I am still in the dream?
Is there a difference between being alive or dead?
