Pokemon Go is growing with Legendaries but too fast?

in #pokemon7 years ago (edited)

Pokemon Go really slowed down over the winter here.  However, it seems that a new surge of players have started playing since the update to gyms and the addition of raids. More people are playing Pokemon Go but have they made filling your pokedex with strong pokemon too easy?

The redesign of raids captured a large audience to come back to the game and catch Pokemon by working together with others. You can now catch Pokemon that you may have not been previously able to obtain in you area (Not counting the Pokemon unique to certain countries).  More players are catching Pokemon like Blastoise, which previously took a lot of work to farm candy.  Now you can catch these stronger Pokemon in one raid and gain rare candy giving you no incentive to go out and find a nest of this pokemon and farm the candy yourself.

But enough negative about the game.  The Legendary Pokemon are awesome and at least difficult enough to catch that only players who play the game regularly will be able to catch them.  So good luck to you all!

Fun Fact: You can critically catch the Legendary Pokemon.  I caught Articuno instantly without the need for the 3 shakes of the ball!
