I may be relearning what I've forgotten, but it just dawned on me from reading this that Bolshevik means "of, or with, the many, or manier". In both English and Greek the stress is on the wrong syllable so it's not immediately apparent what the Russian word means, even tho the words are really basic in Russian: bolshe = more and menshe = less.
