RE: Julian Assange's Internet Cut Off By Ecuador For Doing Journalism

in #politics7 years ago

United they SIT.

Julian is NOT an American, and maybe it doesn't really sink in with the average american that A foreigner is doing what a REAL american should be doing? I'm not sure why america isn't standing up for their rights. Perhaps there is too much fluoride in the water after all?

I see a lot of people (and i mean A LOT) from all over the world who think the same, but none of them dares to be the first to stand up. I stand up, but everyone just feels entertained, and keeps sitting. Go on, save us. Thank you, one vote. But don't expect any of us to stand up FOR OUR RIGHTS.

That's how I feel it. People don't realise the power they have. And all it takes is to
GET UP
STAND UP
AND KEEP STANDING

together.

that is power.

Just look what one man (Julian) can accomplish by standing up FOR OUR rights

ONE man against the corporate corrupt world. AND HE IS STILL STANDING!

Thats the power of standing for something.

All we need to do is get out there and stand next to him.

Sort:

I'm from Brazil and the media here reports exactly what the international mainstream media does. Most people here never heard about him, and the ones who have still think he's hidding in the embassy to escape rape charges. Thanks to channels such as this one here I can get a different perspective on what's going on. And yes there's too much floride in the water. Sometimes I wonder if I'm not living in zombie land already 🙄

Good to know that even in Brazil there are a few people who have knowledge of reality.

I'm in the Netherlands, our news is pretty much silent about Assange, Everything that's coughed up by outlets like Reuters and Bloomberg is translated and slightly re-spinned for our 'market'. The people that still like the taste of bullshit keep consuming it and re-chew it to their friends.
